Keno is a game that can be found in everywhere, and Las Vegas is no exception to the rule.
The object of keno is to pick a certain number of numbered blocks off of a larger block that is numbered from 1 to 80. The more of the numbers that you pick that hit, the larger your win will be. Plus the amount you bet per game will dictate the amount you win.
If you succeed in picking say 7 numbers and you hit on a rather large bet, you will have won a great jackpot but the house advantage on keno is not conducive to your winning much at this game.
It is said that the fewer numbers you play per game the better your odds of winning. It is said that trying to win the jackpot that goes with picking and hitting ten numbers is one in over 8.9 million.
To me, keno seems to be a game of pure luck, although at one time, I stuck a dollar in a quarter machine, picked 4 numbers and hit for $100. Not a big win but a big surprise win for sure.
