I know that winter time is proably the most inexpensive time to head out for Las Vegas where as during the summer its more expensive.

I was just wondering if you could head out to Las Vegas at any time you pleased, when would you consider the best possible time to go??

I would like to go when things are not to awefully expensive, yet the weather isnt sweltering or freezing.

I would imagine that during the winter there are alot of things that you cant do like the roller coasters and things for safety reasons. Then again in the winter there are things to do there that you proably cant do in the winter.

I am just wondering when would be the best time to go to save alot of money on things all the while being able to have loads of fun, not including the gambling.

I would hate to visit Las Vegas and find myself sweating to death trying to have fun or freezing trying to do the same thing.

I need to find a time when it would be a happy medium including the price ranges.

there is no "winter" in las vegas. it gets cold and even will snow once in a while but the winter is just fine. even now it is in the 60's. if you are looking for a time to save money, and it is not that busy, then the weeks before christmas are best. the summer will also bring some deals as the heat is insane. i was there 3 or 4 times this summer. unbearable heat. october was nice, as usual. these were rules of thumb before the recession. now you can get a deal anytime. if you are not a loyal player then just call and ask for a "players rate" anyway. everywhere will be happy to give one. as i always say... stop overthinking and get your butt out there!:)

LOL thanks...As for getting my "butt" out there, well I would have been there a long time ago if it werent for my hubby. Getting the time off work is very difficult for him because he is part owner of the business. I keep trying to talk him into taking a "Business Trip" to Las Vegas and I may finally be wearing him down,LOL.:)

Hello Friends..!!!!

According to me the best time to travel for "Vegas" is in between November to December....Because during this time period you can enjoy the cold plus the celebrations of "Christmas" too...

The major attractions in Las Vegas are the casinos and the hotels. The most famous hotel casinos are located on Las Vegas Boulevard on the portion of that road known as the Las Vegas Strip. There are many hotel casinos in the city's downtown area as well, which was the focal point of the city's gaming industry in its early days........

With Regards,
Tom Ruderr.

It seems that around last year during the holiday season that there were pretty good deals so maybe it is the best time to go. And as others said at least you wouldn't have to deal with the heat.

I would also call ahead and see what hotels and casinos are willing to offer you before you go.
