Great idea they had there. More people will come in and play because they get the free money. Perhaps they will even spend some of their own on the machines inside.

It would also make sales on other things like drinks and food increase. Its just good business. Freebies get people in and good times keep them there. Thank you for sharing this one. I will be looking for these on my trip to Vegas this year.

This is a great idea, but I found out the fine print while taking one casino - Casino Royale - up on this offer..

Yes, you can win "$50+" of free slot play, but it only applies to certain machines. And while you can play these slots for free, you can't actually "win" anything unless you hit the jackpot. Even then, there's a sign on these machines saying that they'll only give you $100!

But, even so, if you're lucky enough to hit the jackpot, it's still free money. :)

Vegas bonuses have conditions, yes.

The Palazzo gave me a $200 freebie bonus loaded on my card. They have marked the machines you can play on - but it is the majority. ( All the newer ones are equipped to handle this) Once you pick the machine and insert the card you have to stay there until you have played the bonus through once. Push a button and it shows you where you are. The bonus cannot move from one machine to the next, you pull the card out before the playthrough, you lost it.

That particular time I had $300 left on the card after the playthrough was done and that was real money I could play anywhere or cash in.

I don't mind conditions, you get the entertainment of playing and if you are lucky you get some free cash to boot.

I remember the last time I was in Vegas and the Venetian gave me a new card. They told me I had $50 of free money accumulated from my slot playing. I didn't mind much either that I had to make the playthrough ammount on the ticket they gave me.

I did a little searching for the right slot machine with the little tag on it for free play money. After about 5 minutes of searching, this one slot machine just gave me some vibes so I sat down and started playing.

The money went up and down and I noticed I was close to finishing my $50 playthrough.
I had it up to $75 at one point as the machine was hitting. And as always I figured I could get more from the machine but it died on me.

Yeah that does look like casino royale, it's the little "town" across street from mirage....I call it that because at night all the buildings have lights on it...and it looks like a little town...lol
