Whether you like speed and racing, or just want to watch an amateur race, this would be exciting.
Located across the street from the Palms Hotel, is the Pole Postion Raceway.
Participants get to choose a racing name and then get to see the name on a big screen, so the racers can see the standings during the race.
Competitors race little karts that are 18 HP and capable of going up to 45 mph. Pretty fast for indoor racing! The track is European-style and is a quarter-mile. The karts are powered by electricity and so there are no exhaust fumes to breathe in.
If racing, or watching racing is not something you like to do, there are also displays of racing gear that's been worn by racing pros to be viewed. A game room upstairs from the actual racing features a couple of pool tables, pinball machine, plasma TVs and a view of the track.
An arcade is also on site with a variety of racing games to play.
