There are plans in the works to build the worlds largest hotel in Las Vegas. The hotel would house 6745 rooms. It would also include a casino and retail stores.
It would be seated on 60 acres west of the Hard Rock hotel. Greenfield development ,an Israel based company, is currently waiting on permits. The permits will give them 2 years to build unless they get an extension.
Las Vegas already has some of the worlds largest hotels which include the MGM Grand. This project would make it home to the largest hotel anywhere in the world.
The plans worry others as the company in question is suffering financially. The current state of the economy also makes others question the plan. I think however that it is a smart move. Las Vegas ia a popular destination for travelers from all over the world.
