There are many hotels to choose from when heading off to Las Vegas. Though if your planning on going and want to save yourself some money, you may want to consider doing this by staying in one of the many hotels which are not located on the strip.
These hotels normally are much more inexpensive than those located right on the strip, though of course they don't offer many of the luxuries that some of the more expensive hotels do, but still this is a great way to save yourself some money if you don't mind not having such luxuries.
I know that when I get to Las Vegas this is what I am going to be doing now. I think I can live with out such luxuries, because most of my time will be spent out and about seeing the sites, gambling and doing what ever else strikes my fancy.
Personally I don't need to sit in a hotel room all day, nor do I need a spa or anything like that. Those things are nice but if you only have a short time to spend in Vegas then you will mostly likely not enjoy the luxuries that expensive hotels offer any way so why spend more than you need to.
