For all those who have made it to Vegas before, what are some of the sites that you would suggest those who are going for the first time to see?

I havent been to Vegas yet but I do hope to as soon as possible, though doing some research about the sites, I find that my head is spinning because there is just so much to see.

Any suggestions and why you suggest them sure would be a huge help to me on my first trip.

I would imagine that you have to actually live there to be able to see it all, which is something I dont want to do. Desert heat isnt my thing. Though I do want to see as much as I possibly can on my first trip.

Do you mean sites (as in websites) or sights (as in sight seeing) ?

I think she meant sight seeing.

May I suggest; for a low budget of sight seeing, just take a walk down the strip and walk into the shops and casinos right off of the sidewalk. You can see some interesting things this way.

Along the strip there is the Bellagio fountain show, the Treasure Island Pirate show and the Mirage Volcano.
These are the sites I've seen and all within a few blocks of each other. You will have to ask for the show times of each so you can see them all in one day if you wish.

That would be good for starters in your sight seeing experience.

Get you a vegas guide, it will show all the sites and when they are happening. Then you can pick and choose what you want to see.

I have never been to Vegas either but I have heard about the famous Welcome to Vegas sign. I guess it is a must to have your pic taken in front of it during your first trip to Vegas. It would be a good scrap book photo of your first trip to Vegas.
