A company that was hired to install and maintain the fire systems of 3 hotel-casinos and also a Las Vegas seniors home, is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal's office. The question is whether or not, maintenance of the fire systems at Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon on the Strip, Laughlin's Edgewater, Colorado Belle hotels and Charleston Retirement and Assisted Living was properly done. (Repairs have since been made or are being made on these systems.)

Siemens Building Technologies, based out of Illinois is the company being investigated. Fire code violations are misdemeanors, and whether the company will be prosecuted will be decided by the district attorney. It's also possible, according to reports, that fraud could also be part of this action, as obtaining more than $500 under false pretenses is classified as such.

Wow, Bills Gambling Hall?

I'm glad that nothing happened the last time I visited. I hope everthing is working the next time I visit them too.

And a seniors home too. That is more disturbing than a casino not having a proper fire system.
