I was checking out the various websites and found this tidbit. A canadian resident won over $63,000 while playing there in mid December. He had been playing Caribbean Stud poker at the Castle.

What a wonderful win. Now if I could just do that when I go to Vegas and play the slot machines.

Oh by the way his name was Robert. They did not disclose his last name and even the picture of him holding the giant check just showed Robert written on it. Right to privacy,good for them.

Robert most have won one of the big progressive payoffs, that's means he had a pretty stellar 5 card poker hand. Probably a straight flush which wins 10% of the big jackpot.

Caribbean Stud Poker is basically the same as 5 card stud so getting a straight flush is impressive.
