Wow, what a thrill, a really cool resort to open in October. This resort is going to have 3,815 rooms. Not only that, it will be very high tech. I believe each room will have a laptop in it. People will be able to talk to each other, order room service, surf the internet, and even order wake up calls.
They are going to install a very large antenna that will also help with dropped calls from cell phones. With all the concrete around, people keep dropping calls. That is going to be wonderful.
Technology has really come a long way.

I wonder if that is the Encore, beside the Wynn?
They are suppose to open in December of 2009. Perhaps they decided to open earlier.

The name of the resort is Fontainebleau. North of the Riviera.

North would put it on the other side of the Sahara. That's a long walk from the main part of the strip.
I wonder if putting it where the Frontier Hotel & Casino use to be would have been better? That is almost right in front of the Trump Tower. I guess they couldn't wait that long for the clean up of the torn down Frontier, and it may be a bit cheaper that far out.

I think the frontier lot belongs to Wynn. Fontainebleau - I recall that there is a big resort condo complex by that name in Miami. I wonder if it's the same people.
If so, this will be one fancy place.

curiosity killed the cat so I looked...
Seems it is open. It has an 1700 slots, 145 table games and an "open air poolside casino" to boot.
Wow, this sounds really nice!
And, yes, same people as in Miami.

Very nice....
The only thing I'd be weary of is using the laptop that is provided. If anything, I'd only use it for general web browsing and so forth. I definitely wouldn't order anything online or check bank accounts and stuff like that. In any case, I'm sure their lawyers have thought of this already, and their liability is probably next to none.
Also, do they tell you anything like "use at your own risk?" If not, then they're definitely setting themselves up for bad roads ahead....unless they don't allow users to install stuff on the computer...but of course, there's always ways around that.

I would assume they use the same legal protection internet cafe's use.
I am all turned on by the 1700 slots and poolside open air casino!
