This sounds like it would be great. I am not really into jumping out of an airplane. I hate heights but I found a place where you can do it indoors. I would do that in a heartbeat. No risk of plummiting thousands of feet to my death.

The place is called. Flyaway indoor skydiving. They offer lessons before you fly and recommend that you wear cool comfortable clothing. I would have to because the stress of being frightened would have me sweating anyway.

They don't allow persons under 40 pounds or over 250 pounds due to the tunnels restrictions. It is like real skydiving but you are starting on the ground.

I once had the opportunity to bungi jump off a bridge in West Virginia but my plans got cancelled. I was very disappointed. This sounds like my second chance to catch some air time.

I think this would be a great place to get started for your air time.

I feel the same way about jumping out of a moving vehicle, aircraft or otherwise. But if I had too, I would do it.

I don't know... I think I would be one of those that stayed on the plane and crashed and burned. I am scared to death of heights. To be honest, I have never been on a plane and the very thought of it sends shivers down my spine lol. I am a big chicken I guess lol!

if you are not thrilled about jumping out of a plane i suggest the zero g experience. they take you up in a nasa plane that the astronauts use to train for weightlessness. i did it once and will do it again soon. it is expensive, about 5k per person, but it is the coolest thing you will ever do. i guarantee it. i cant even describe the experience. i've done a lot of cool things but floating is probably the coolest......

That I could maybe handle lol. As I said before I am a big chicken, I like my feet planted firmly on the ground lol. I never used to be this way. It seems like since I have had kids things worry me too much lol.

The zero-g thing is a lot like scuba diving. That is something I have done, but the zero-g has no pressure involved, where scuba diving does.

While being under water in scuba diving, you will feel weightless as well, and like being in space you cannot take off your mask because of the lack of air.

Scuba diving just something to think about, but it can be dangerous without the proper schooling.
It is a couple grand cheaper than the zero-g experience, but many more hours involved.

Funny - was just having this conversation with my girlfriend. Would love to skydive at least once.

Have to put it on my "Bucket List"

Her on the other hand was of the opinion it would be a cold day in......before she jumped from a perfectly good airplane.

Maybe next Vegas vacation we can try this! :crossfingers:

Since you could never get me to jump out of a perfectly good airplane to plummet to my death.....this is great option! Skydiving without the fear of death, you can bet that I'm up to it. hehehe :D

i can assure you it is nothing like scuba diving. if you have ever had a dream that you were flying, that is the closest i can come to a description...
