Ok there are a few of us here that have not yet had the chance to visit Las Vegas and see all of the sites, and experience all of the hype.

Though I do know that there are several people here who have spent some time in Las Vegas and could proably share some really useful and helpful information to help all of us who have yet to go there.

So please if you are one of the lucky ones who have gone to Las Vegas please tell us about your experience, what you did, anything tips that you may have picked up while there. Anything that you can tell us sure would be helpful to the rest of us.

I know that I am hoping that with in the next year to go visit Vegas and have some fun in front of a slot machine as well as see a show or a few sites. So any tips that I can gather sure would be great in helping me to plan my trip carefully.

I have a minor tip for you - Have cash when you land in Vegas. :D - Only way to get to hotel is shuttle or taxi. I am a firm believer in "if they don't take my debit card...I don't need it." Well, there are ATM's in the airport but not many (trust me ;)) but a lot easier with about $20 bucks in your pocket.

Other than that, have fun!

With so much to see and do, one visit will not be enough so pick a few "must see this no matter what" sites and take your time and enjoy them.

Thank you, this should be a great thread, with lots of experience in it, so it will help peeps like myself know what to expect and what to do when we finally hit the Strip!

Oh, about having the $20 in your pocket, don't forget about another $5 for tips. :D

Chipsahoy, are you a craps player by chance?

I see you are into dice, that's what brought up the question.
