LasVegas MealTicket

I was reading up on some restaurants in Vegas, when I came across the LasVegas MealTicket information. This would be great for visitors that are afraid that they may go over budget while in Vegas.

A LasVegas MealTicket can be purchased before going to Vegas. The meal ticket entitles a visitor to one breakfast, one lunch, and one dinner each day in a choice of 11 restaurants. The MealTickets can be purchased for 1, 2, 3, or 5 days.

Many of the choices of restaurants are right on the Strip!

oh now thats fantastic. some one like me who may spend all my money in the casino and forget to save some so i can eat....lol...this would be perfect, pay for my food first, and then gamble, won't have to worry about losing 20 lbs while there cause i can't eat!! lolll

That is a good idea. I'm somewhat worried about what money we will use when my belly starts to rumble from hunger.

I may give the meal ticket a thought the next time I go to Vegas.

I have gone to casinos many times, and hardly have enough money left to pay for gas for the trip home, much less eating. That is the best thing I have ever heard of.

My husband is a diabetic and sometimes I get selfish and gamble like crazy. What a great idea. I wish they did that for all casinos. LOL

That is a really great deal. I had asked before what some of the costs are for taking a trip to vegas. Now I realize that it can be pretty expensive. This is great because you could have your meals paid for ahead of time and not have to worry about that once you are there. Thanks for the post!

I checked the website out that offers the meal tickets. They have a 5 day meal ticket that is $198. (Best Value). I only saw 9 restaurants listed though.

The only draw back is that restaurants are all located up and down the strip and that's a lot of walking as my friend just pointed out to me. :eek:
She's going in a couple weeks and said that she would want to try at least 5 of the places you can eat at and none of the restaurants were close to where she was staying.

One good thing is that the bus system in Vegas is great, if you don't want to walk the entire length of the strip. These buses are called "The Deuce" and are nice double-deckers...

They run 24 hours a day and stop at every casino on the strip! Fares are $3, or for seniors, youth and those with medicare, the fare is only 75 cents.

You can also get a 24 hour pass to use the Deuce for $7 which allows for unlimited rides.

The longest you have to wait between Deuce buses is 17 minutes, which makes it really nice. :)

Well that's cool then, I didn't the know buses were cheap and I don't think that friend knew either. She's a little older and the group she's going with is older too, so they're concern was all the walking and having to eat at the same place the whole time they were there. I'll let her know about the buses.
