I was surfing the net today and ran across some articles about how the economy is effecting Las Vegas. They were talking about how casino revenue is falling, and the hotels arent doing as well as they were. Plus, ticket sales are dropping.

When I think of Harrahs having laid off 2000 employees since last March, its sad. I also read that the Sands stock price has dropped 95% in the last year. It is just unbelievable.

Its even effecting the cocktail waitresses that say they used to get a dollar a drink in tips when they would take their trays out, which were loaded with 20 or 30 drinks. Now they are lucky to get $4 or $5 dollars altogether.

Makes you wonder what is going to happen next. Will things start picking back up in time to save a lot of these places? I sure hope so.

No one knows what is going to happen with the economy. It may get a lot worse before it gets any better. Lots of people are hoping the new administration will help. I guess we will all have to wait and see.

It is very sad to see so many people losing thier jobs. Will this cause more robberies? This is a way and see thing.

The main thing is to the US government needs to learn how to spend the American's money. They soend to much on unneccessary things.
