I have never been to Vegas and would like to be able to get quality deals when I do venture out that way. How does one get a players card? Are there any special requirements that you have to meet?

I know that there are some fabulous places to stay and many things to do. I just want to make sure that I get the most from my first visit. That way I am sure to want to return.

I don't really care for crowds but if I can find a nice place to stay and a good slot machine I am set to go. I am also concerned about flights and hotels and would like any good information from those who have been there.

Lol, these are a lot of different questions, let me answer the player card one.

You can get them on the casino floor, usually they have a desk with the name of the player club - like Total Rewards, Club Grazie and the like. If you don't see one, you can ask anyone who works there.

You need the player card so you can gather up comps and get to stay for free or at a reduced rate next time you go. Or they will offer you special tournaments and such.

Make sure you always use your player card when you play, every slot machine has a place where you insert it. And don't forget it - most women have a string of sorts to tie it to their purse so if the want to leave without it, they feel the tug.

In Vegas, thats not such a big deal, the card is useless to anyone but you and you can just get a new one and it will have all your play recorded.

But there are casinos, like in the Bahamas, where your room key is also your player card. That can be a bad one to leave behind. People can use it to charge things...
