How can I get into senior housing?

Hey friends,

A few years ago I tried to apply to get into a senior citizen's apartment complex, but was told that I had to be 65 to apply. So I waited, then when I became age eligible and went to re-apply, I was informed that there was a 10 year waiting list! It's like a Catch -22.

How does one get into senior housing under those circumstances?

John White, I think I saw a couple posts in this forum that mentioned senior housing.

I don't rightly know exactly where I saw them, but there in here somewhere.
