I'm planning on going to Vegas sometime soon...........at least I'm hoping to. Can anyone recommend a place to get meals that will still allow me to play some slots or blackjack? I'm afraid that when I do get to go to Vegas, I'll either have to go hungry or get to gamble a little bit......not a choice I want to make.

I may be wrong, if I am someone correct me, but I do not think you can get meals and eat while you are playing.

Most casinos have little snack places and I have been known to get a sandwich and some coffee and sit down and play while eating...

Thank you for the information. I didn't necessarily mean I wanted to eat while playing.........I guess I worded it wrong. I just meant that I wanted to be able to afford to play and still afford to eat a meal. I need some advice on finding low cost meals in Vegas. (I usually only eat one meal a day, but I'm afraid that the food there is really expensive.)

Frommers Guide says that the best inexpensive meal can be found at Capriotti's, 324 W. Sahara Ave. (tel. 702/474-0229 ).
They serve submarine sandwiches. The roast beef and turkey are roasted on site, and all kinds of other selections are available too. These delicious sandwiches are 9 to 20 inches big, and most of them cost under $10. One of these can feed a number of people, and they are all fresh and tasty.

Sounds good. Thanks for correcting me Dominique. I love subs too. Next time will have to get one and eat all day while playing. LOL

Hehe its important not to spend to much on dining when visiting Las Vegas, you gotta save it for those great table games and slot machines. These subs sound so good and the price would be well spent money. Thanks for this great tip. Tid bits of information like this can really make it alot easier to stretch your money a bit further in Vegas.

Thanks so much for the information Dom. Those subs do sound delicious, and are so big, my friends and I could split one and all save some money!! That means more money available to play those wonderful slot machines!!:D

Oh that is wonderful news. I love to eat but I don't want to pay a fortune for a meal that would normally cost me ten bucks at home. I would however like to indulge in a good french meal or perhaps something else on the exotic side.
