At 8,600 feet big, the new Vegas McDonalds opened with much fanfare. It is high tech and totally unique. It replaces the old McDonalds right on the strip by Harrah's.

In Vegas style, it has 3 large screens outdoors allowing McDonalds to display messages and items of interest to Vegas revellers.

Inside, the decor is ultra modern and sports a content rich, 14-screen media ring suspended in the two-story, open-ceiling dining room. Here you can watch items from Discovery Communications, such as McDonald's-branded short vignettes of popular Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet and Science Channel programming plus other entertainment snippets.

This McDonalds has free wireless internet and all the enticing coffee concoctions (Latte etc) you expect to find in a sophisticated coffe shop. So you can go there, find a nice spot, have some coffee and work online or answer your emails.

Called "Viva McDonalds" this sounds to be a place we ought to stop in when in Vegas. Would be interesting to see a Vegas style McDonalds.

I have to admit this would be an intresting site to see. I never would have thought that McDonalds would fancy themselves up like this to contend with all the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas.
This is one stop that I will have to make when planning my trip to Vegas.
Thanks for the information.

Well Heck!! that would be something to see....I am not much of a Mcdonalds eater...but would be nice to go for fancy cup of coffee.

Wonder if the pricing is cheap too? So many high dollar dinning in vegas, sometimes you want to eat cheap!
