Las Vegas is one of the most popular destinations in the world and it is getting bigger everyday. Las Vegas has become the place to be for conventions and big events which draw in big crowds. The bigger the crowds, the more hotels and so on can charge for rooms, dining and entertainment.
If possible, you should take your vacation in Las Vegas on weekdays. The weekdays are a less crowded time in Vegas and so things will be cheaper. You can get great rooms at a lower cost throughout the weekdays.
December is a great time to get good rates in Las Vegas as more people are thinking about and preparing for Christmas and a trip to Las Vegas isn't on their to do list. The exceptions for this are when the National Finals Rodeo is going on and also closer to New Years Eve.
Another great time for good deals in Las Vegas is in July and August. The weather in Vegas during those two months is hotter than grease in a frying pan! Most people prefer to go to Vegas in the Spring and Fall when the temps are a bit even keeled.
