I used to play the game quite often as a teen we would have a game anywhere. If we were visiting a friend or out on the street hanging out. If you had a couple of dollars in your pocket and a clean pair of dice it was on.

I used to win alot of money playing but I haven't played in years. I wonder however is the table version at a casino different from a home or street game?

I caught someone using loaded dice once and took them and crushed them. I hate people that cheat. It takes all of the fun out of it. We played for the fun of it and for a little extra spending cash.

Of course we were friends and if the looser didn't have lunch money the next day you bought him or her lunch.

I know some about casino craps but not too much. I don't know anything about street craps. What are the rules there?

Street craps have basicly just two bets - Pass and Don't Pass.

The shooter makes a bet and then the other players each bet a portion or all of the shooters bet. After the shooters bet is covered then other players can bet with each other.

The rolls are the same: Roll 7 or 11 first and shooter wins
Roll 2,3,12, thats craps and you lose
Any other roll is the point.

If you bet pass you win if the playes rolls a 7 or 11 first off. (called the come out roll), you lose on a 2,3 or 12 and any other number is a winner IF the player rolls that same number again.

Don't Pass bets win if the player rolls a 2,3, or 12 in the come out roll and after establishing the point number, rolls a 7 (craps out) before he rolls it again.
