Default 5 tips on blackjack

1.Find a table whose minimum is no more than 5% of you total stash.

2.Start with the basics

3."Doubling down" involves doubling your bet and receiving one additional card when your suspect strongly that you will beat the dealer by doing so. This is the player's chief advantage, so don't ignore this option.

4.If you are dealt two cards of the same value, you may "split" them, doubling your bet and playing two hands

5.Tip (or "toke") the dealer.

I don't mean to sound like I don't know how to play blackjack, but I don't know what a 6/5 or a 3/2 table is.

Can you explain this a little 1819?

Thank you.

those are the payouts for a blackjack. lets say you are betting 10 bucks a hand. a 6/5 table pays you 12 dollars for a blackjack. a 3/2 table pays you 15. betting a hundred a hand you'll get $120 instead of $150. big difference over time...

Doubling down is a great option and can get you a great payout. You should split on aces or eights these give you the best odds. Other combinations usually end up busting you.

1.Decide your bankroll before sitting onto the table.
2.Never use more then 5% of your bankroll at a blackjack game.
3.Never bet money that you cannot afford to lose.
4.You should never buy insurance when playing blackjack
5.Always make sure you change your wager over the course of a session so that it matches how you're doing.

This is all sound advice. I recommend however that you only split on aces or eights.

It gives you better odds on a win than say splitting a pair of twos. You won't need to take many cards with the aces or eights but you will with the 2's and risk busting believe it or not.

Blackjack is a good game of 21. For a good game you need to take right step at right time.

9 or lower – hit
10 or 11 – double down if your cards add up to more than the dealer’s upcard. If not, Hit
12 thru 16 – hit when dealer's upcard is 7 or higher; stand otherwise.
17 or higher – Stand

with pairs:
Always split Aces and eights
Never split 10s, 4s or 5s
Split all other pairs when dealer’s upcard is 6 or less
