Default Blackjack help

This has to be my favorite card game to play. I wont say that I am a great player or anything like that but I do have a great deal of fun playing.

Though I would like to learn strategies and maybe a few tips to help me to improve my game more.

Is there any where that I can do all of this and be able to play and put the new information into play?

Right now with the way I play which is just for fun I would totally lose in Vegas I know.

I would really like to improve my game and be ready for my future trip to Vegas where I will be playing for real.

Many times if you get a lively table of blackjack and you're playing against the dealer, the other players will give you some help for a few hands just to keep you headed in the right direction of winning.

I had noticed that the locals who play at the tables will wait until a certain chair or chairs are available before they will sit at a blackjack table and they usually won't talk much, but they will give you a few hinters when you ask if they are good people.

You can't go wrong with the information you get from the Wizard's site.

As mentioned before, people at the table (that know what they're doing) can and will help you most of the time if asked. Not only do they not want the house to win, but believe me, some people will get irate if you make the wrong plays! Don't let that deter you from playing, though.....my motto is "When in doubt, just ask."

If you don't mind playing at a $25/hand table, I would highly suggest finding a 'double deck' (2 decks) game at any of the casinos in Vegas. Most blackjack games are played with 6, or even 8 decks, which increase the odds in the house's favor. Fewer decks = better for the player.

But, as I had mentioned, you won't (I haven't) find a table that uses 2 decks that has a minimum bet size lower than $25.
