Pay attention to the game

When playing blackjack all I can say pay attention, and keep track in your head, it is a simple game, but if you stop paying attention it will make you lose.

The cards value is simple, numbered cards are face value, 10 and up are worth 10, except ace it is worth 1 or 11 depending on what you need it to be worth. To have a perfect hand it is great to have a 10 and a ace that is a easy win.

A lot of people hit on 16 or higher no matter what, but this normally will cause you to bust.

I'm one of those few people who will not hit on a 16 while playing blackjack and sometimes I won't take a hit on a 15.

I've busted in blackjack too many times by taking another card on a total of 16 points, more often than not.

And like vegas40 mentioned, you have to pay attention to the game and the cards on the table, too.
