Default Where to play?

If I were to decide that I wanted to play blackjack when I got to Vegas where would be the best place to play?

I know a bit about the game but as far as live game play I am a novice. I would like to know if there is somewhere that I could try it out.

Would I be better off to play the video version? I mean I am not great with people and I am not sure which odds would be better for me.

If you have any thoughts or an opinion please share I would be ever so grateful for any advice.

I play blackjack at Bill's Gambling Hall and Saloon, across the street from Bally's, they usually have one or more $5 tables you can learn on.

What is nice about some of the $5 tables, is that many people play on them to just have fun. Get a few drinks, play some cards, and have fun.

There are a couple other places that have the $5 tables too, but I forget where.

There may not be a best place to play blackjack other than looking at the rules of the game and the options given to the player to surrender. Some places hit soft 17's and others stand. Some allow the player to surrender 1/2 their bet at some point. Say your 16 versus a dealer K.

How you play will help you more than where you play. If you learn a basic strategy and learn when to take what action at which time, you'll be ahead of those who know nothing. You will also keep the crowd at bay. These people are nasty to slow players and those who don't follow basic strategy. I even ripped into a guy once during a 22 day winning streak and I have manners.

Well I have been to Vegas a few times but that many visits are not sufficient to refer a particular casino as a good casino. So would like to refer you the same casino what Vegas is referring. He seems to have a good experience.
If you are not good with people then playing on video casino is a good option for you. It would fulfill your need of playing casino games and you don't have to encounter any person.
