I have always liked to play poker. I like to play a friendly game rather than a game for money. This allows me to get to know my competition. Most people have some bad habits that become visible as you play with them for a while.

One friend would bite her lip whenever she had a low hand. If she had a good hand she would get the giggles. You always new when to bet high or fold with her playing.

I miss playing with my friends. I would like to compete for some real money but you don't seem to have enough time or money to get to know your competition.

Poker was never very big in Vegas until online poker popped up and started sending people to Vegas as part of their winnings. Soon Vegas adjusted with great tournaments.

The big poker players, like Doyle Brunson, always say that poker is not about the cards, it's about the people playing. He says, show me your eyes and I will beat you. That's why so many serious players wear dark glasses.

My problem with those is that I can barely see through them, lol!
