Poker In Vegas

I was just wondering, I know that many of you frequent Las Vegas on a pretty regular basis, Have any of you won big in a Las Vegas poker tournament or anything? Have any of you appeared in the WSOP? Have any of you played while being televised?

I actually met someone the other day who said that he just got back from Las Vegas about a month ago. He said he was in a big poker tournament out there and he did fairly well. He said he wasn't the winner but he was right up and he placed in the tournament which I guess means he did pretty good. He said it was going to be on television but he wasn't sure when. I can't remember his name though.

I wonder if I have ever watched any of you playing poker on television live from Las Vegas. That would be really cool.

I don't know a whole lot about poker. I have never been taught how to play. My husband enjoys playing though.

I've always wanted to play in the big tourneys, but it takes more money than I can afford at this time.

I did play in a small poker tourney once at one of the strip casinos and walked away with over $300. And if they had let us play 5 minutes more, I would have won it with the my last hand for $650!

It was exciting though and I'd like to do that again.

Playing live poker takes a lot of time and patients if you want to make it to the final table.

I have monied in a Vegas poker tournament with about 250 players in it, It was at the Bellagio.

Forgot what place I finished but got $500. I know how I lost though .

Was at final two tables and pushed all in - was kinda medium in chips but had AA!

I was called by a smaller stack and then by the big stack with KTs. He hit a straight on the river and I just missed the final table .

Had a blast though and yea, need a lot of patience. Live play is slow and tedious but was fun.
