Default Beginner's Learning Craps

I guess a lot of people who have never played craps before will begin playing for money, not really having any sort of strategy and losing their money. Thats not a great way to do it I don't think. There are better ways to learn the game for sure.

Lots of sites online offer free craps games. If you want to learn the game, I would suggest you take advantage of the free gameplay. I know that the Vegas Palms Online Casino offers free games of craps. I am sure there are others as well too. Anybody have any suggestions?

Learning the game playing at free sites will allow you to develope a strategy and get comfortable with what you are doing.

With any game you play, you need to have a feeling of confidence about it. The best way to get confidence is by practicing.

Practice does make perfect in most any game, and the same goes for craps too.

But the reason they call it craps, is because you can crap-out at any time and lose your bet.

And it's all in the hands of the dice thrower.

If you can perfect your dice throwing game, you can make any dead boring table come alive with whoops and hollers.

Why? Because getting the dice to land on anything but 7's and snake-eyes (I think), you will be making money for everyone at the table.

Sometimes there are hundreds and even thousands of dollars at stake for each throw of the dice.

I bet it would get my blood pumping if I was to win a streak at the craps table.

I thought it would be a boring game too. But I tried it one day when I got bored on a cruise I was on. I didn't know much about the game so I ask the dealer if he could explain it to me. He was very helpful, as what the standard bets were, of course he took my money at first, but then my luck turned and I hit a streak and was up like $100. WOOHOO I was pumped! Then the next throw of the dice.....crapped out
I decided to walk away after that one, I had only lost a few dollars so I still managed to have some extra money in my pocket. Which I put to good use of souviners

I learned you bet the pass and the 6 & 8 were the best to bet on.

craps is a very social game and one of my favs. DO NOT be intimidated when first starting out. you will catch some needling at first but it is all good natured. cut the table in half, remembering that both sides are the same, ask a pit person for some pointers or just tell the veteran players that you are a new shooter and let them tell you what to do. even new players will have a blast. look for a "fun" table. the players really do make this game. i have made life long friends at the craps table...

I have begun playing it more and more lately and I agree!

Some of the best times I have had is at a craps table. Rooting, cheering, high five's it was great fun.

If all that is going on, you have to be winning .

I found everyone helpful my first time playing, they even coerced me into being the shooter. I was going to skip it as to not mess up.

They all jumped on board yelling "lets here it for beginners luck!"

I ended up making a 3-4 "points" before crapping out and was one of the gang now the whole weekend.

If you are going to play the game you should buy a book on the game before you ever set foot in a casino, Try anything by John Patrick's or Charles C Westcott on craps.
