1.The Casino is there to take your money as fast as it can.

Well this is true think about it for one Min. there are in business to take your money, and the only way to stop that is put in the time reading about the games you are going to play, and practicing them. True you might just let lucky, but I do not want just luck to be on my side!

2.The House changes dealers intentionally to change your luck.

Sometime this does happen, but most of the times they are just going on break every twenty min’s. There are times when a hot roll is going on and it’s not time for a dealers break and they will change out one dealer!

3.If the Stickman sends out the dice to a shooter with a 7 showing it is bad luck.

Again 99% of the time this does not happen, most good dealers will not do this , but if you are playing in a casino that sweats the money you just might have one dealer that is a jerk and will do this on purpose, some dealers are pathetic they do not wan to see anybody win, and should not be in the casino industry!

4.When the dice or a die bounces off the table it is bad luck.

This is not true when the dice goes of the table, but most players will call off their bets! I have tracked thousands of times this has happened and guess what it does not matter! But if you see that the shooter is up-set over the dice going off the table you might just want to go along with this one, has they are going to make their next shot harder or something, and just might seven out. Most of the times say 98% of the time I leave my bets working!

5.A virgin Shooter is good luck.

This one is far from the truth, why would anybody want the dice to go to someone that has never played the game before, when the guy standing in front of this new shooter has just had two rolls over 40, I have seen where someone would even put chips-up on the table for some they didn’t even know if they were a good looking woman, when she didn’t want anything to do with shooting the dice! She was just standing there trying to figure out how everyone way playing. They results most of the time they seven out after a few rolls of the dice!

6.So and so is a good shooter.

This could be true there are players that spend countless hours practicing shooting, but they to do get on very short rolls, no one is perfect. So don’t bet the farm on them, to start with, and if they do get on a roll press up your bets only one unit at a time, taking profit on every time they hit one of your points!

.7 and 11 are lucky numbers.

Think about this one I never want to see a seven on any roll of the dice as I do not bet the pass-line bet, and the same goes for the eleven. The eleven is just one wasted shot that did not make me money. And after the point has been established you never want to see the seven, because if you do you lose, unless you are playing the don’t!

There are all kinds of superstitions on the craps table and that is just what they are! Some of us will buy into some of them, even when we know better. I will call off my bets if one of my shooting buddies wife walks up to the table and he didn’t want her there! His mind is no longer on the table but on her!
But will not call off any bets if the drink girl comes to the table, a red head walks up to the table, dice go off the table, and the list goes on and on. The longer you play the game of craps the more of these superstitions you hear, they make for a good laugh when you here and see what some players will do!

I agree people do tend to fall for a bunch of different myths and superstitions regarding games that can be very funny.

I have not been one who tended to fall for this kind of stuff, but when it comes to casino games I have heard some whoppers.

There are a whole heck of a lot of people who are completely serious about some of the things that they do for luck when it comes to games.

Mostly I have heard of those which have to do with slot machines and games. Though hearing about these and the game of craps makes me wonder how many times I have actually seen some of these things happen, yet didn't really pay any attention to them.

Any way good luck everyone in what ever game you prefer to play!!!!

I don't think the casino wants to take your money as fast as possible, I think they want to hand out enough small wins to keep you playing longer, have lunch, play some more.

If you play longer for your money, you have more of a "lucky" feeling and tend to spend more money to capture the big one.

The casino doesn't mind if you hang around a long time, they make money on selling you meals and whatnot, and the fuller the floor the better it looks.

It also gives them time to tempt you to spend even more money playing...

There are still many myths in the craps game and mostly people assume them to be true. Some of them are:-

1.If the dice bounce outside the table then it is a bad luck to the player.
2.A new player is always lucky as he has not used his luck till now.
3.You luck transfer to the other player if he touches you while playing.
4.'Virgin' players, those who haven't rolled the dice, change the luck at the table.
Female virgins are considered good luck.
Male virgins are considered bad luck.
