Default Craps Wins

Do any of you here play craps? If so, have you won big? I am just wondering because this is something I have never tried to play before and don't know a whole lot about the game. I am more of a slots, bingo girl. Sometimes I get bored with those though and wouldn't mind trying something new. At the same time though, I want to play something that I do have a decent chance of winning lol.

I've watched craps being played a few times. There is one friend who jumps around on the forums, he's played craps in Vegas. If only he could give a few tips on craps, perhaps you could get the big picture of how the game is played.

Playing the game is one step up from just watching. Kind wish I'd tried it, but I was more into playing table blackjack and poker at the time.

I would love to also try my hand at Craps. However, I don't even know how to play the game. I think you need a 7 or 11 or am I thinking about another game?

For a beginner, I recommend you play only one bet - the pass line.

The house edge on the pass line is only 1.41%. That is very good when you compare it to any other casino game available. Your chances of winning are very good here.

The pass line bet is put on the the pass line itself on a come out roll.

What is a come out roll? There is a black marker on the table that says "off" when the roll is made.

If it is a 7 or 11, you win even money.

If it is a 2, 3, or 12, you lose.

If it is anythng else (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) they call it "the point."

Now the dealer turns the black marker from "off" to the white "on". He places it on that number, so you can remember the point.

Now the shooter rolls the dice until he rolls that same point again, or a seven.

If the seven appears before the point, you lose.

If the point is rolled first, you win even money.

Don't make a pass line bet after the come out roll. This is allowed but it won't make you any money, most likely.

This is a very simple bet, and like I said above, one of the best bets to make in a casino. The house edge is really low on this.

I had never played craps until I was in Vegas back in 12/07...I was with some co-workers out there, and one of them persuaded me to 'roll the bones' with him....and omg, I had a GREAT TIME! I also won over $3,000 after starting with a couple hundred.

Playing craps, if you're at a hot table, is one of the most exciting games you can play.....I'm sure you've passed by craps tables before where everyone was hootin and hollering...if you play, you'll understand why.

The thing about craps is that you can either win a lot of money in a short amount of time, or lose a lot of money in a short amount of time.
