General Strategies
1.
Place your betting table and limits in advance and stick to it. If you double your stake, it's a good idea to walk away.
2.
Talk to the other people at the craps table. They're usually friendly and will tell you trends from the other shooters and bettors.
3.
Start by betting no more than the minimum, and only add to that bet after you win. This will help assure you of at least breaking even and only risking what you've already won
4.
Observe the shooter and see if they look confident. If so, bet the Pass Line. If not, bet the Don't Pass Bar.
5.
Avoid the Field. The four numbers you lose on (5, 6, 7 and 8) are the most likely rolls in the game.
6.
Bet with someone who carefully sets and throws the dice. Going with those who know how to throw or at least think they do is a good thing, and backing them up with a bet will boost their confidence.
