Default casino cheat

Hi,

I wanna play online but I am so scared that the casinos are cheatting. I have
been reading so many stories with scams that I really started thinking all of them
are cheating. What's your opinion?

The most effective way for a casino to cheat a player is to manipulate the gaming equipment-specifically, the deck. Removing one or more ten-value cards from the deck can dramatically increase the house's edge and few players will notice the differences between a deck of 52 cards and a deck of 48, or even an eight-deck shoe from which a deck has been removed. Alternately, instead of removing high cards, additional low-value cards can also be devastating to the player. This same technique can be utilized from the player's side, but it requires considerable sleight-of-hand to be able to add or remove cards as the dealer picks up the hand at the end of each round while remaining undetected by the dealer, the pit boss and the cameras.

I don't remember roulette having a deck of cards.

But if you're talking about blackjack or poker, then yes, taking a card out of the deck can mess up the outcome of players hands.
