Roulette etiquette
Have you ever wanted to play Roulette and just werent sure how to go about it or how you are supposed to act and what you are supposed to do while playing. Well, maybe the following will help you out, and you will be able to approach the roulette table with fewer qualms about trying this game.
What is most important in Roulette, is knowing when to place your bets and when to wait.
Between spins, the dealer will give you a minute or so to place your bets on the layout, then he or she will pick up the white ball and start it spinning in the opposite direction in which the wheel is spinning. You can continue to place your bets as long as the wheel is spinning fast, but once it starts to slow down the dealer will say, "no more bets". And at this point, no player can touch any chips on the layout.
After the ball has stopped, the dealer marks the winning number with a "marker", and then removes all losing bets. Then he will begin to play winning bets, but players cant touch their winnings until all bets have been payed and the "marker" is removed.
Be careful not to move chips that other players have placed. The best course of action is to be very careful around the layout.
