Default Roulette

Roulette is one of the easiest table games you can play in a casino. The rules and gameplay are pretty easy to follow once you have played a few rounds. Of course the rule of thumb is the easier a game is to play, the better the house's edge is. Roulette is no exception.

If you want to learn a simple game and don't mind that the house has the edge, then this game is for you. If you want a more stimulating game then try some other casino games as well.

Roulette is played using chips with no denomination printed on them. Actually that is the very definition of a chip. The ones with denominations printed on them are actually called checks.

The value of your chips is your buy-in divided by the number of chips you receive. The dealer puts a token on top of their stack of chips of the same color with the value printed on it.

The roulette wheel consists of thirty eight numbered slots. The numbers are 1-36 and 0 and 00. After a player makes their bet, the dealer spins the wheel and a ball and after a few seconds the ball will stop in a numbered slot.

There are different combinations to win. To learn the combinations follow the link at the bottom.

There are also rule variations for different countries. You can also lern those by following the link.

Thanks for the link. Although one would think that roullete was a simple game the rules can be a bit confusing.

I have only played this game online and don't really care for it. It is rather boring to me. I will however spend some time checking out the rules and see if that doesn't help a bit.

Thanks for the link Vegas. Wizards have good information about all the casino games so a newbie can refer to that site. In roulette luck matters the most so can be learnt earlier than other skill based casino games. As if luck matters more in a game and skills required are less so there would be less to learn.
