Default Roulettes "Inside Bets"

Straight bet- This is where you put your chips on one number, say $2 on number 16 saying that 16 will hit on the next spin. You place your bet on the table making sure it touches no lines. If 16 hits when the wheel is spun, you have won.

Split Bet- You bet that one of two numbers adjacent on the table will hit on the next spin. The payoff for this bet is 17 to 1. When betting this time, you can bet on 28 or 31 by placing your chip on the line between the two numbers. If either one hits, you have won.

Trio Bet- Also known as a "Street Bet" or "Stream Bet", the payoff on this bet is 11 to 1. To place this bet, say betting $4, you would put the bet at the end of say the 10, 11, 12 row. But make sure the bet doesnt touch any other row.

Four Number Bet- This bet is sometimes called the "Square Bet". To place this bet, say a $1 bet that these numbers will come up on the next spin, and you would put the bet where all four numbers intersect. This bet pays 8 to 1.

Five Number Bet- On this bet, there is only one combination you can bet on and that is 0-00-1,2, and 3. You would place your bet on the side lines where either 0 and 1 or 00 and 3 touch. The payoff on this bet is 6 to 1.

Six Number Bet- On this bet, you are betting that one of six numbers in two consecutive rows will hit. The pay off for this bet is 5 to 1. You would place you bet on either side line at the point intersected by the line dividing the two rows.

Default Re: Roulettes "Inside Bets"

I'm not sure if this was mentioned anywhere else in the roulette section, but most casinos will have a sign on the edge of the table showing which numbers hit on the last wheel spins.

That may give players a small advantage of which number they would like to bet on next; by betting on which number they think the ball will fall on before the dealer calls "no more bets", and it stops bouncing and lands on a number.
