Default Tips to Follow.. Or Not

I have never played roulette before but I just found a website offering advice for beginner roulette players. I have never read anything on this site before and since I am roulette clueless, I wonder if this is good advice or not. Here is what was basically said.

1. The house always has a great advantage in roulette. I think I have heard that before but I am not positive if it's true. It seems as though it would be though.

2. Sucker bets should always be avoided such as the number five bet. (0,00,1,2,3). That has me confused... (yea, it doesn't take much to confuse me lol)

3. Single zero roulette tables are the best. That makes sense to me... I think lol. I guess the Monte Carlo offers these tables.

4. There is no system to roulette, the books are a waste. I am not sure about that.

So, what do the roulette experts here think? lol

I am no expert and played roulette only twice, loosing my money both times because I didn't know how to bet on roulette.

I've seen people win big on it a few times, but I think that's all luck.

As for the single zero, the odds are more in the player's favor because that is one less number on the wheel for the ball to drop into.

Just basic odds strategy.

I have read a post in here somewhere, where a player mentioned the best way to play roulette was by playing on the 2 to 1 spots or color spots I guess.

He mentioned it was time consuming, but in the long run you get your money back.
I guess you would double up on each win and keep in your pocket what you came to the table with.

The basic betting strategy for roulette.

So it seems that roulette is more of a game of luck or chance, however you want to put it. The house does have the upper hand. There is some strategy but it is very minimal. Cool, I think I got it! Thanks. The tips seem to be fairly reliable.

I have tried to play and understand Roulette, but it has failed completely. This is just one of those games that I will proably never get the hang of and its better that I just keep myself away from it.

I do know alot of people who love to play the game, but personally its just not my thing. I am better off sticking to the blackjack tables and slot machines.

Moreover roulette is a game of chance and you can do nothing to beat the game. But still it is advisable to follow these rules in order to leave the game without a loss:-

1.Set a bankroll limit for each roulette game.
2.Prefer European roulette to play on an initial.
3.Practice roulette for free before playing roulette for real money.
4.Bet more on outside bets, rather than inside.
5.Don't go for any system.
6.Don't try to play more to win your lost money back.
7.Whenever you feel angry in the game just leave the game as soon as possible.

Thanks Cammi for the great tips. News like me can use all the help we get lol.

Some casino games are just beyond me it seems. I think I have the hang of this one now but I'm not ready to bet money on it lol!

Roulette is a luck based game. So no more tips and strategies are available for it. But still there are some point that need to be considered. Here are those some points:-

1. Never pay for any Roulette System. Rather you can use a system which is free. But don't rely your money on that system.
2.Reserve your winnings. Never bet more than you can afford to lose.
3.In roulette game the results would be random because it is a luck based game.
