200 jobs cut at the Sands

It seems the economy is still impacting the casinos in Las Vegas, causing the Sands to cut 200 more jobs.

That makes a grand total of almost 500 workers that are out of a job in the last few months.

Harold Frank had this to say about the layoffs,

but the reality is that revenue figures are way down at Las Vegas casinos and the companies cannot justify their payrolls.

Hopefully the economy will pick back up in the near future and the casinos will be able to hire back their help.
