3 little girls hit by car

5 little girls were crossing the street in a crosswalk at Camino Eldorado near the Tropical Parkway in North Las Vegas when two 6 year olds and one 5 year old were hit by a car driven by a 78 year old woman who didnt stop at the light.

2 of the little girls are in critical condition and the other is in serious condition at a Las Vegas hospital. Our prayers go out for these three little girls and their families.

This is the update on this accident.

One little girl has been released from the hospital, one is still in the hospital in critical condition, and the 6 year old girl, Mia Decker, has passed away from the injuries sustained in this accident.

Very sad whatever you wrote, and the age of 78 is not usual to drive, now what happen to that girl who was in hospital?

I read up about this accident and one young girl died, the two others were sent to the hospital.

One of the two girls was released a week later and the other one was in a coma for awhile, and I guess she was released later on as well.

I couldn't find much more than that with a quick online search.

I also looked around but didnt find any more information than you have.

I just wonder also what happened to the woman that hit these girls.. Since the woman was elderly, hopefully she cannot and will not drive again. As to jail time, shes a little old to be doing that but still should be made responsible for what she did.

It is a very shocking news and i dont think so that senior citizen have to drive in this age.
i pray for that little girl who passed away.

Hi Kenyone and welcome to the Vegas Forum.

That was a trajic accident and one that everyone hates to see happen. Do keep the parents of that little girl in your prayers. Losing a child is so awfully hard to deal with.

Hopefully, one day, there will be testing of older people to make sure it is still safe for them to be behind the wheel of a car.
