Booty slap costs Rodman big time.

Rodman was at the Hard Rock in 2006, and while eating there, he slapped a waitress on the booty.

The waitress sued and won, to the tune of $225,000.

That sure was one expensive meal!!!

exactly what is wrong with our society. if it was any other patron the waitress would have just smacked him back. while it is not ok to pat a waitress on the a*s, it should not cost someone 225k and the girl certainly does not deserve 225k. again, not cool to mess with someone while they are working but dennis is a big target, as most high profile guys are, and this was an oportunistic young gal. at least it just cost him a few bucks. remember mike tyson going to jail for rape?. mike is no angel but he did not rape anyone....

Yeah, that doesn't make any since to me either, with either case.

But the lady that Mike supposedly raped, didn't she refuse a rape test?

I think that would be enough evidence right there.

I saw Mike in a movie not too long ago, so at least he's back in the public eye.

I think Rodman got exactly what he deserves. He thinks he is so special that he is beyond everyone else. I am sick and tired of people who are famous thinking they can do whatever they want. I would have sued him for it too!

he does not think he is special. he lives his life. it is not his fault the public demands to know every aspect of his, or any other celebritie's, life. unless you know him, or any other high profile person, you must rely on what the media tells you. the media is a horrible source for information on celebrities. i hope the folks who damn him for "forcing" a bar fly to dance with him also commend him when he gives a half a million to childrens hospital. oh that's right. that's not a good story for tmz so it probably never happened....

i am not best friends with mike but i do know him and have spent some time with him. he was railroaded. so was tommy morrison. poor guy never had aids. mike is doing just fine. if you believe the media he is broke and blew all his money but consider the source. boxing is a dirty business. i know first hand as i am involved with the fight game. he pissed someone off somewhere and ended up in jail. that stuff does not just happen in the movies. i will be ringside this weekend for the paq fight. one of my best friends is training paq man. very short visit to mecca. leaving sat morning coming home whenever i wake up on sunday. depends on how long the after party goes!!

I completely respect your opinion 1819. I must say though that I am a bit confused as to how the public forced a bar fly on him and made him smack her on the booty.

I remember when he played in the NBA and I recall that he was in a lot of trouble on and off during his career. There are lots of players/celebrities that seem to be able to stay out of trouble.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this one lol.

i respect your views as well. i'm just saying that certain guys are easy targets. dennis, because of the way he lives, is one of them. is he mr. innocent? of course not. when i was a rookie we actually had to take a class and watch a movie on how to handle money and fame. how to avoid bad business deals, being ripped off, gold diggers, etc. i never paid it much mind until the things started happening to me and my friends. the stories are literally endless and unbelievable. i have heard every sob story, every cant miss business proposition there is. women from all sides of the tracks. strippers who turned out to be wonderful mothers to rich girls, with their hair in a bun, being passed around the locker room. the biggest thing i learned in this world is never, ever judge a book by it's cover. that is an old cliche but words to live by. no woman ever deserves to be mistreated and there is no such thing as "she asked for it" but usually the girl complaining about the smack on the butt had her top off ten minutes earlier dancing on someones lap. i have seen the scenario played out a hundred times and it is like watching groundhog day. always the same. girls crowd around star, get drunk, want to be part of the action. have a grand old time....enter another girl. girl number one gets pissy and, all of a sudden, fun is over, accusations fly. do you have any idea how many times a woman has cried rape because she wont admit to her husband that it was consensual sex? now with all that said, i was not there so i really dont know but i do know that dennis has no need to force any woman. there are plenty of volunteers. take everything the media says with a grain of salt. the media turned oj simpson from a beloved athlete/actor into the monster of the century. last i checked he was found innocent of murder. i happen to think he did it but i ask myself why? answer... i saw it on tv!
