Casino player card fraud in Vegas

The player card fraud entails the stealing of the persons points that are on their player cards. In fact, in December, a letter was sent out by regulators as a reminder to casinos that it is their job to protect these cards from fraud. The letter went on to tell the casinos to check their databases security on a more frequent basis.

Plus, smart phone apps are also in danger from hackers who try to get credit and debit, and bank information.

The casinos have layers of security in place but the hackers always manage to get through them to get your information. But, you can rest assured that the casinos are doing everything in their power to keep your information safe.

Is this possible as an outside job? It sounds like an employee maybe doing it from the inside???

Absolutely nothing is safe anymore I don't think. If there is any information out there to be had you can bet someone will figure out how to get it.

Technology is great for the most part but it sure does make us all vulnerable sometimes.
