They are currently discussing how this will work. The intent is to bring more jobs to the state.

They are also discussing the chinese being able to open a trade center in Las Vegas.

China is the No. 3 export market for Nevada with $479 million in sales, Di Stefano said. In 2000, China was No. 24 with about $40 million in sales.

Another of the agenda items to discuss is establishing air service between Nevada and China, both passenger and freight, he said.

It looks to me like this may be the answer that Nevada has been looking for. With tourism down here in the United States foriegn investment combined with foriegn tourism may turn things around.

I agree that this may be just what Vegas needs but on the other hand, I worry about us allowing other countries to buy up so much. Maybe I am just paranoid lol.

I am with you Vegasrocks!! It worries me too. It looks to me like other countries are trying to take over the US. China has always tried to invade us over here. It may help the economy in Vegas, but with what concerquences?
