Default Christmas in Vegas 2011

I havent been to Vegas during the Christmas season yet but its something that I plan to do next year.

Christmas in Vegas, from the pictures I have seen is just spectacular and would be something that would be even more beautiful in person.

How many of you here have been to Vegas during the holiday season? Share your experiences with us and your favorite part of the holidays. And pictures too if you have any.

I think I went to Vegas in early December one year, but they didn't have many Christmas decorations out other than a few trees here and there so I miss that part of the holiday in Vegas.

I too would like to see what Las Vegas is like during the Christmas holidays. I bet the decorations are really beautiful.

My wife and I got to see one of the casinos' Christmas Village scenes, which really awesome...
I think it was at Caesars Palace where we saw it. Just after you go through the main doors, hang a right and about a block down the hall there's a room that they decorate during different times of the year, like a seasonal room.

I too think that Vegas during Christmas would be just beautiful, and I wouldnt get much gambling done for wandering around looking at all the decorations.

Now New Years will be coming up at the end of the week and I bet there will be some serious partying going on all this week. With New Years Eve being the biggest party nite of them all.

It is my understanding that they cordon off the Strip to car traffic which is a great idea. That way, all pedrestrian traffic will be safe.
