Claudine Williams Memorial

A memorial service is set to take place for pioneer Claudine Williams at the Harrah's Ballroom in Las Vegas on June 13 at eleven in the morning.



Claudine Williams died on May 13th. She was the very first woman to be a major executive of a casino, to be a chairman of a Nevada bank and also to hold the title of president of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce.

Claudine Williams was chairwoman of Harrah's Entertainment from 1983 to 2006. She was also the first woman to ever be inducted into the Gaming Hall of Fame which happened in 1992.
