firefighters and the city negotiators can not agree

Las Vegas firefighters and the city negotiators can not agree on new labor concessions that city officials say are needed to balance the city's budget without further raiding a using up the reserve account.

They are asking for mediation to solve this issue.

Last year, the firefighters union agreed to stop the 3.5 percent cost-of-living raise also the $1,500 per employee uniform allowance. Sounds like this should of helped the situation.

Hopefully the solve this issue so Vegas will still have firefighters, every place needs them.
