The Founder of Station casino has passed on at the age of 70 due to heart problems.

Frank Fertitta Jr., the founder of casino operator Station Casinos Inc. who retired when his sons took the company public, has died. He was 70.

He had apparently been suffering a heart problem for some time and the complications are what took his life.

He had moved to Las Vegas Nevada in 1960. He left behind his wife and three children.

Oh wow, that is really sad. With him having health problems I imagine the family prob ably kind of expected it but that doesn't make it any less difficult for them.

I hope he was surrounded by friends and family and my heart goes out to all of them.
