Free Bus Rides for New Years!

I think this is awesome. I just read that the Southern Nevada transit officials announced that they will again be offering free bus rides to partiers in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

They said that they offer this in an attempt to make the streets safer, keeping people who are intoxicated from behind the wheel of a vehicle.

The free rides include all fixed routes throughout Las Vegas. The free rides will begin at 6 pm on New Year's Eve and will continue through 9 am on New Year's Day.

They do say that some of the routes will be detoured because they are closing traffic on the strip because of partiers on the street.

So if you are bringing in the new year in Las Vegas, take advantage of the free bus rides and keep yourself and others safe.

Wow I wish I could be there.....it would be nice to have the whole strip closed down so you can roam around without having to worry about getting hit by a car...or bus...lol

Talk about the ultimate "designated driver", this is a great idea and will make the streets safer for all.

Yea, being able to roam the strip with no traffic at all would be great.

I want to go!!!! I would love to see it all by bus, away from all the hustle and bustle of the traffic.

Lets all get together and go..LOL I can dream can't I?
