Default How Las Vegas Plans on Bringing in the New Year

It seem that Vegas has got some big plans to bring in the new year.

But we would expsect nothing less form the gaming giant.

Quote:
Vegas dose every thing in a big wonderfull fashion LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas is welcoming in the New Year the only way the city knows how -- with a bang.

2011 will begin in the skies with a fireworks display called Party -- Las Vegas. When we ring in the New Year, fireworks will be shot off the rooftops of seven Las Vegas Strip resorts.

Stretching from the south to the north, they are the MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, the Venetian and the Stratosphere.

"I think it's going to be the greatest year in Las Vegas history and we're going to have fireworks that's going to be the introduction to prosperity in southern Nevada," said Mayor Oscar Goodman.

The eight minute, six second program will be put on by Grucci and will consist of more than 49,000 effects that will light up the first minutes of the New Year.
