Default Las Vegas Fire

Just earlier today there was a fire just behind the Monte Carlo casino located on the Vegas strip. Interstate 15 had to be closed for a short time due to the blaze.

The fire started after a transformer exploded, however I guess it is still being investigate to find out just exactly what caused the transformer to explode. Flames from the blaze shot around 90 feet into the air!! Though thankfully no one was hurt in all this mess.

Just one small thing can seriously cause major damage, though thankfully that isn't the case here. Things could have been much worse.

You can read more on all of this in the link below.

Can you imagine being anywhere near where that explosion occured? With 90 feet of flames just all of a sudden appearing out of nowhere not to mention the explosion. It's certainly a good thing no one was hurt because it sounds like it could have been bad.

Wow, that's crazy.

They mentioned that I-15 was shut down until the fire was put out, but the cars were still moving in that filming.
Must have been a motorist that caught the fire on camera before the Las Vegas police and fire department got there.

It was just a few years ago that the Monte Carlo had a fire on their roof.

This makes me wonder; a transformer explosion in the same area as the last Las Vegas strip fire, at the Monte Carlo.

Yes it could have been seriously bad, but thankfully it didn't go down that way!!

Seems like this small area of Vegas is dangerous and prone to fires. Something apparently needs to be done about it to make sure it doesn't happen anymore.

I also read about how the Monte Carlo was on fire and that was really bad. Hopefully this whole mess is fixed soon and so that it never happens again.

Vegas is just like every where else on the planet, it has it ups and downs along with good and bad.
