Default Las Vegas Weather

Heres one for Vegasluvsme. This is what the weather is like in Vegas now and is not too different from the weather we are having here in Ohio right now.

Quote:
Temperatures at McCarran were to rise today to 46 degrees by 9 a.m., to 54 degrees by noon and reach a high of 57 degrees by 4 p.m., forecasters said. The normal high for today's date is 72 degrees and the record high was 84 degrees, set in 1980.

Temperatures are expected to drop to 54 degrees by 6 p.m., to 48 degrees by 9 p.m. and to 45 degrees by midnight, forecasters said.

Sunday's morning low will be 41 degrees and Sunday's high will climb to 58 degrees, they said
28 degrees here in Ohio last nite with a heavy frost, but Indian Summer will be upon us this week with daytime temps reaching 70 degrees at least one day.

Indian Summer is the time you should get all of your yardwork finished and prepare for the cold winter months.

I'm wondering if this year will be unusually cold, since Las Vegas is having a cold snap this time of year.

Our temperatures have been slightly cooler than usual for this time of year, too.

I guess it's a 50/50 chance that it means we'll get colder weather this winter. We'll have to wait and see.

Im thinking we will have a milder winter here in Ohio with a good bit of snow.

Here it is the middle of November and the temps here are near 65 for the next 3 days or so then it the temps will drop again and perhaps we will be lucky enough to have another warm streak.

As far as Im concerned, it can do this till March then go right into Spring.

Yeah, it looks like mild weather right now, even for Ohio. But I'm thinking that all that can change.

I think Ohio had a bad winter last year. It wasn't too bad in the south; we got snow for Christmas!

Not sure if we'll get snow for Christmas this year. It's seldom that we get snow in December in the first place.

We usually get snow in late January or early February down here.

Well, here it is the 2nd of December and we still have green, green grass. The temps have dropped into the upper 20s a couple of times but over all we have had very mild weather so far this winter.

I dont think we will have any major snowfall until towards the end of January. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

We did have a few flurries the other day but they only lasted about 20 minutes. And one morning we had a lot of black ice on the roads because it had rained the day before then turned very cold. There were quite a few accidents.

But, overall, I sure cant complain about the weather so far this winter.
