Default Michael Jackson to open "Thriller" in Vegas

The latest news has it that debt ridden Michael Jackson is to open the zombie themed "Thriller" casino in Las Vegas next year.

Jackson, it is said, is about $200 M in debt and has the casino planned along with a new song, and extensive touring to help alleviate the debt.

Jackson who is suffering from skin cancer will be undergoing radiation treatment and wont be able to sing for a while, but he is looking at other options for cancer treatment, because the 50 year old singer doesnt want to let his fans down.

Holy Crap, $200mil in debt? Damn. HE used to be one of the Richest in the world, and now, zilch.

Skin Cancer? where and when did you hear that? I have not heard that at all. I wonder if it has anything to do with the skin problem he has always suffered from and the treatments he tried for that?

I hate to hear that he has skin cancer. I had not heard that before.

I think I would pass on his casino though. I'm not a big Michael Jackson fan.

I was trying to find info about the skin cancer and here is what I found out.

He has been diagnosed with vitiligo and lupus. The lupus is in remission.

Lupus= a chronic autoimune connective tissue disease that can affect any part of the body. The immune system actually attacks body cells and tissue causing inflammation and tissue damage.

Vitiligo= is a chronic dermatologic disorder that caused depigmentation in patches of skin. This happens when melonocytes (cells that are responsible for skin pigmentation) die or are unable to function.

I had no idea that he suffered from these things. This is why his skin has lightened so much and also why he has to avoid sunlight.

ack...

LONDON - POP SINGER Michael Jackson is terrified that his nose will fall off alleged a report in The Sun.

The singer's fear took off after he was diagnosed with skin cancer close friends told The Sun.

"Michael has become convinced that his nose is going to fall off," a friend is said to have told the newspaper.

"The doctors have reassured him that this won't happen," another friend allegedly told The Sun.

"But Michael believes that the skin cancer will kill him and lives in constant fear of dying.

"His chances are excellent but he is very afraid."

Reports in British newspapers said that Jackson, 50, had biopsies taken from his chest, arm and nose to remove potentially lethal growths.

The cancer was allegedly diagnosed last month in Los Angeles, reported news.com.au.

According to The Sun Jackson will not have radiotherapy; instead the cancer will be scraped off layer by layer.

Jackson recently postponed four concerts in the UK, reportedly because he needed more time to rehearse, not for health reasons, said The Sun.

That's messed up. His Thriller video was one of my favorites too when I first saw it.

I hope everything works out for him. His fear will not help matters either.

As for a Thriller Casino? I don't see that happening in Vegas.
But it could, since anything's possible in Las Vegas.

Michael Jackson won't be performing any more shows. He just died today from a massive heart attack

AP Source: Michael Jackson dies in LA hospital

Associated Press Writers

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Michael Jackson, the record-breaking, sensationally gifted "King of Pop" who emerged from childhood superstardom to become the entertainment world's most influential singer and dancer, and the tabloid world's most disturbing celebrity, has died. He was 50.

A person with knowledge of the situation says Jackson died Thursday in a Los Angeles hospital. The person was not authorized to speak publicly and requested anonymity.

His death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music's premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

Yes it has been a hard week in Hollywood this week. We lost Ed Mcmahon, Farrah Faccet and Micheal Jackson! My prayers are with all thier families.
