Default NBA Star Admits to Gambling Debts in Las Vegas

NBA All-Star Antoine Walker has plead guilty to passing bad checks in Las Vegas to cover gambling.

We aren't talking a couple of hundred of dollars in debt either. This is to the tune of about $750,000!

Do you wanna take a guess on what he got in court? I am sure you can imagine as he is a "star" and all.

He was put on probabtion and has to repay his debt! Blah!

The casinos that he owes are the Red Rock Resort, Caesars and Planet Hollywood.

Can you imagine the sentence we would be talking about if that were you or I?

Yea, there would definitely been jail timefor anyone else.

Idont like the message that this sends to our young people either.

The sentence shuldbe the same for everyone, no atter what they do for a living.

It's like that with all celebs it seems. If you have money and are well known then you automatically get a free pass. A mere slap on the hand.

Paris Hilton, Bruno Mars... on and on I could go- all have been caught once or mutiple times with drugs and this and that and all they ever get is a fine and probation.

It does send the wrong message to young people.

Yeah that is sad to hear. If this was his first offence then probation would be the norm for most people and possibly a little jail time.

I remember one fellow who use to post on here and he mentioned that if you have something to cover your checks they will allow you to write them for that ammount.

If you decide to clear out your bank account or move your money around after you write those checks, that is up to you. But if you do, you will pay the consequences like Mr Walker has.

Stars do seem to get away with more, but they will still have to pay the fines that go with it.
